Some of you might remember me mentioning that I was planning to switch to a different school come September. Well, it's official now. After passing their initial test for French and handing in my application, I have now received a letter of confirmation.
Starting September 16th, I'll be studying at a language education center here in Augsburg.
It's a bit of an odd feeling to see this endeavor finally become reality. I think despite sending in the application and checking for options of financing the year that I'll be at that school (always assuming that I don't fail - though I don't intend to >_> ), it was somehow still a bit surreal
Right... Turns out this is a pricey summer for the Jude.
Come saturday I'll be off for a two-week-trip through the entire country and back, to see the bf and to attend a very dear friend's wedding. With gasoline being not exactly cheap and me having to pay the enrollment fee for the new school, any extra money I can get my hands on would be awesome. So for the time being I'll be offering sketch commisions at a discount.

So, some of you know that I enrolled for a bachelor's degree in English language and literature studies a while back. Now thanks to the state telling me that I'm not elegible for a student loan I had to split my time between studying and working a 90 hour part-time job to make ends meet.
That and the fact that the education is a rather theoretical one made me look into alternate options and I ended up with a school that offers a two-year education and diploma as a foreign language correspondence clerk for two languages, in my case English and French respectively.
