-- Atem likes to act like hes the top dog mostly around new cat's. He keeps himself clean and is careful not to trip. He tries to act in way's that he thinks are mature and will scoff at "immature" cats. He can sometimes get very annoyed if a cat ignores him while he's acting like this.

Background

Atem was born in a litter of six to two long line cheetah breeder's. His owners were quite happy that he was born with such a pelt. They were sure he would be a breeder just like his parent's. His father and mother made sure to train him as best they could. Though he was more interested in playing tag with his siblings but as they got older they all got sold over time. Wanting to please his parent's he acts invested in his training and curious about what his future partner could be like and what their cubs could be like. Though he missed his siblings and playing tag with them even as he'd gotten to old for that. His parents were proud as he grew up and met his first partner. It was a dark brown and white cheetah that his human had recently bought.

They were both two and he was nervous about parent hood since they would want him to help raise the cubs. She seemed more eager. As they found out she was pregnant everyone was excited. His humans were hoping that he would be as good a breeder as his father who had had many litters by now. Finally the day when his cubs were to be born came but it did not go how they wanted. Only one cub was born and it was a female. Not nearly as profitable to the human as a male would be. Enraged by this failure his human sold him not long after the cub was born. He never truly got to know his child but he didn't feel ready for them. He was quite surprised when he was bought by a human with quite the amount of cat's. A lot of hunters and it seemed one of them had just had a large litter. They made him a racer since they already had a breeder and he wasn't really suit for that. Excited to run for a living Atem is pretty happy
