So it's been a rather long time since I've taken the time to update my journal here. I've been quite busy lately. I spent several months addicted to Diablo 3, and now I'm back into WoW again now that Mists of Pandaria is out. I never ended up finishing FFXIII or XIII-2, and I still have a large backlog of other games I need to play. I haven't really been playing much Rocksmith lately, either. I have been taking part in a DnD game with several friends every Sunday over Skype. That's been quite a lot of fun. And on a completely unrelated note, Wintersun finally released their new album Time I, and it's pretty fantastic. :D

So I decided to splurge and pay for premium membership for a year, changing my symbol to *, because why the hell not, and then I also joined the beta program, which further changed my symbol to =, apparently. I also went ahead and added a bunch of new widgets and stuff to this page, mainly just to mess around and make it a little more fun. Anyway, not a whole lot new on the art front. I haven't really felt very artsy lately, so I haven't bothered messing around in SketchBook. I upgraded from the Windows 8 Consumer Preview to the Release Preview. Not a whole lot different, really. Probably won't be many more changes from here on out, either

I'm probably going to try to [art] some of the Undying Cie'th from FFXIII. Definitely Vercingetorix, probably also Atacus/Wladislaus, and possibly Geiseric, Zenobia and maybe even some of the others if I feel like it. (Read: If I get bored enough) Sidenote: Whoever designed the Vetala and Raktavija (particularly the mission where you have to fight TWO Raktavija) can f'ing DIE. Completing the all 64 missions in FFXIII during crystarium stage 9 (pre-endgame) was the hardest thing I've ever done in my gaming career.
