Monstrosity #127 - Destructive Assimilation

Beware the smell of cloves if you are ever on a trek through the jungle. For you are smelling the compounded digestive enzymes of Monstrosity #127. This creature squeezes its prey with its rib-like tusks while puncturing with teeth from its mouth and claws allowing its saliva to seed within the body. Once seeded, it will hang the decomposing carcass within the trees of its territory. The enzymes in the saliva break down the entirety of the body into a sponge-like substance that is easier for this Monstrosity to digest. The smell of this chemical reaction benefits the flora immensely, serving as both food and a deterrent for pests.
Monstrosity #127 is extremely territorial and will attack any living mammal on sight and utilize it as nutriment. If seen from afar #127 appears rather lumbering and slow. This is however not the case as it is lighting fast when engaged--using its pincers, claws, tusks, teeth, and mandibles to mangle its victims in short order.
