Hello, everybody! I’m JR, and I welcome you to my cozy little gallery.

I am here because I love art; creating it, looking at it, and learning about it.

Almost anything can inspire me, but my favorite things are comics, cartoons, and music of all kinds.  This shows in my art, as I often use bold colors and textures, and  invent amusing characters and situations.

I am interested in a lot of different art forms, but drawing and animation are my main focus.  Most of my work is done digitally on my iPad, but I still like to draw things on paper, the classic way.  My joy comes from creating something new and growing and improving as an artist.

I have a Darling Little Assistant who is also an artist, and a great friend, always giving me support and ideas for artworks.  You will occasionally see her work here, too!
