I walk the line
I walk the line
The troubadour sang
With his rugged mournful voice
And he walked the line
I walk the line
Is such a strange term
When the world is full lines
And most of them are hidden
I walk the line
Not the line between
A beginning and an end
But still a line to walk
I walk the line
Between my dreams
And this strange new world
Of unasked questions
I walk the line
That separates the mad
From the simple fools
Who never cross a line
I walk the line
Where land and water
Meet and part the world
Into dream and truth.
