June has come, June has gone. July has come, July has gone... August is here, Im another year older, but I still haven't gotten around to getting my stuff posted up here. Though I have made headway in sorting thru all I have yet to post. If all goes well, I should be able to get something posted up here this coming week, and hopefully I can continue to post stuff, as I have well into triple digits worth of images to post. So to all my loyal followers who still stuck around, keep your eyes peeled.
Im still toying with the idea of offering my ship models and character resources to others. This is a tough decision for me, because:
Well considering my last deviation is over 2 yrs old, it can go without saying that I've fallen behind. Though it may appear so on this site, I actually havent stopped working... Ive been steadily moving forward, my current Star Wars fleet now numbers over 75 (some custom creations)... My Character Base for my Story Project broke 80, with about 15 "characters" in reserve for non important parts. Ive ventured out of the Far, Far, Away Galaxy and even managed to model some other, Non-Star Wars Sci-Fi things... Ive started new projects, and extended old ones.
Long Ago, I started gathering statistics for known Star Wars Vessels and compil
So, Ive neglected this site for some time now. Its been over a year since my last posting, and two years since my last journal entry, but such happens when life happens. Ive been busy in that time, and hopefully I will get that point across when I start posting my work Ive done in the past year or so...
This small town has been pretty beneficial in regards to me artistic side. Theres some serious Art appreciation here in town, a handful of art festivals, a few art contests at these festivals as well as the state fair. A handful of my pictures were entered and brought home some awards. Ive also been lucky enough to have been published in
Thanks for watching! I'm almost certain you found me because of GI Joe. You have a pretty robust gallery yourself - good stuff! You should more GI Joe characters, but this time stay away from the Ninjas and the glam. LOL!
😂😂 those pics are extremely old... I've moved onto to more tangible forms of GI Joe... customizing MegaBloks Call of Duty figures into Joe's... I'm now also working on 3D printing vehicles in scale with them to accompany them, but it's taking more time than I anticipated to whip up decent models.
I recently created a Viper helmet for 3D printing. Although it was a very clean and precise file, it turned out kind of sloppy after the print - and very expensive! It would have been cheaper to send the file to an actual helmet manufacturer and have them develop it the old fashioned way, probably. Thankfully, I did it for someone else who wanted the print for a costume, so no harm to my wallet.
I've considered for a long time to develop and print a better articulated, better scaled Lego mini figure. The more I think about it, though, the more I feel like the entire Lego system would need to be redesigned to a 1:1:1 ratio (in terms of a cubic brick with 1 stud). It's too much effort.
