Hemlock Hole at Four Quarters Farm in Pennsylvania has to be one of the most beautiful, peaceful places I've ever been. We'd been swimming there the previous evening.

This was the view the next morning...
Sometimes you can feel the magic happening before you press the shutter...The world stills around you.
This was one of those times.

Don't let anyone tell you that a point-and-shoot camera won't produce a decent picture. :D

Hemlock Hole! :+fav: This is a beautiful picture of it. I need to go back, methinks, but perhaps for Beltaine. Yule would definitely be too cold. :aww: I love how this photo is all misty, like the world is waking up. Did you build the rock cairn/structure?

Many thanks for the :+favlove:.
I'm glad you like it.
I need to go back there, too. The weekend I took this picture is the only time it's been warm enough to swim.
No, I didn't build the cairn, but it's a skill I'd love to learn.

It actually *is* a sanctuary...an interfaith retreat tucked away in the mountains. :)
