Geistis Commission- EVA Christmas"Just handle the goose, appetizers, and side dishes and Ritsuko will handle the dessert."
That was all Misato said before she and Asuka dashed out to handle the only thing girlier than cooking; shopping. Though in that case, Asuka insisted it was Shinji who was too girly for it; unable to handle the shoving and hurdling needed to claw your way through a Christmas sale. Not that Shinji was complaining though; that sort of thing simply wasn't his bag.
Cooking, however, was. As the fourteen-year-old sat around the kitchen, waiting for the goose to finish, he sighed again, leaning back in his seat. Christmas was never a big deal at the boarding school where Shinji used to live, always just being marked by the other children being picked up by their parents and vanishing for three weeks. Shinji, meanwhile, was left in a dusty, tomb-like building with his teacher, sitting and eating in silence.
Being with Misato was a different take on the holiday; the last three days the boy'd been run ragg
The Titanic Women Of The Yeager Family
(Attack On Titan/AU/Commission)
Carla Yeager thanked the merchant from behind the counter as she collected the bag of groceries she had just paid for. Hoisting the heavy brown sack into her arms, the middle-aged mother thought back to the price she had just paid and grimaced to herself. It was a thankful thing that groceries were so collectively cheap for what they were, but when you had a household with four different mouths to feed, including your own, it really was a cost that managed to add up fast. “This way!” Ruby called out over the hammering rain. “There’s a road coming up, we might find a house!”
“I’d settle for anything at this point!” Blake added, holding Gambol Shroud over her head, using the wide bladed sword as an attempt at cover. The girls kept running, their clothes soaked through and their endurance being tested. Before too long, the girls spotted the wall of a log cabin through the blanket of trees. Their spirits buoyed, they picked up a second wind and almost sprinted for the structure. As they broke through the treeline and circled around to a door, the girls noticed a wooden sign that had clearly been removed and put back on a fair few times. The sign read in bright red letters “Grimm! Keep Out!”
“Seriously? We have to fight Gri
