A new piece for this series of animal landscapes that I'm working on at the moment, using images that I shot the Rocky Mountains in Colorado in February last year.

It's an idea I've been wanting to play with for a while now - trees and forest as fur.

All stock by yours truly.
A quick experiment I did yesterday using images of water splashes and falling water that I shot in studio yers ago....turned out pretty well I think.
I'm taking a break from mucking around with architecture for a bit, these images take much less effort to produce and have been just as satisfying. It's been pretty refreshing really.

The name is drawn from native Australian mythology, the form is an emu (not an ostrich, which is similar but unrelated as far as I know).

This image is made from images I shot while hiking around the area of Falls Creek a couple of weeks ago.

I really wish DA would add some kind of gallery option. I've added some closeups on my Insta too:…
So the other day I decided to blow off work and set myself a challenge: make something in 8 hours. This was the result.

There's no real concept going here - it's an idea I had a while back after noticing the similarity between the textures of certain rock formations and those of African Elephants. This year I've been getting bogged down in huge projects, I really wanted that instant kick and gratification from a quick project.

Was thinking I'd submit it for Desktopography this year, but it's not happening :,(

Lady Liberty
This is one I've been working on for a few months, for such a significant city I really wanted to get this one right.

New York blows me away with it's enormous vertical scale and insane perspective down it's long streets and avenues.

I feel the American Dream is more an economical one, than an ideological one - for this reason the wall street bull takes it's position as the head.

About 250 images comprise this one - probably the biggest collage that I've ever made. All stock shot by myself in New York, in January and June this year.
Hey peeps,

So I started selling some of my work as art prints on Society6 recently. Being the fine people they are, they've featured my work and until the 9th of November are selling it with FREE SHIPPING WORLD WIDE (kind of a big deal when you're ordering stuff to the other side of the world).
