la prueba

This is a large acrylic piece I did as a commission. "La Prueba" is Spanish for "The Test". I named it this because it is a companion piece for another elephant painting I created previously entitled "This is Not a Test". The first was more a whimsical exploration of imagination, whereas this painting asks of the viewer a question: "What do I see - a tiny elephant, or a gigantic egg?" The answer you give tells me all I need to know.
