.:Birthday Gift:. 31 Years with Yves

A birthday gift for the amazing and talented Yves Bourgelas TheBourgyman 

This guy is a real big inspiration to me! He's one of the main reasons why I drew Mario art! His artstyle is very nice and cartoony and the colors he use look very nice on his drawings! I especially love his poster-like drawings, whether they're for Mario anniversaries or, his own anniversaries or just for fun, they're all really detailed and well-drawn! They sometimes make me want to steal his artstyle using black magic or something. 

As a celebration for his 31st birthday, I decided to draw SuperCrash, SuperPouf and SuperWhatsHisName... again! Only this time, instead of drawing them in my old chibi artstyle, I decided to draw them the artstyle of how I draw my characters today. I still remember the times when I always accidently colored SuperPouf's hair with the wrong color, good times
I've gotta say, my artstyle's really changed overtime. They look so much more detailed and handsome(?) now. Back then, it was all just chibis and really bad human anatomy XD

Anyways, this is fanart for Yves' webcomic, "SuperCrash!". Honestly, this comic deserves much more attention than it has! It's a really good and humorous story with hilarious and awesome characters and it even has really good art with it! I guarantee you that you will laugh at least a million billion trillion times as you read the comic. Sometimes, the comic might even make your jaw drop either because of how beautiful the art is or how epic some of the scenes are. 

The story is about these Superhumans who get mysterious superpowers by these green glowing objects called "Heronium". This "Heronium" was founded by Darcel Surroi while working at the grounds searching for precious metals with his superior, Pierre. He decided to take the thing home and then later it affected him with strange powers! Darcel used this new power of his to fight for justice until suddenly, his powers were drained out by the time he was 18 years old. For some strange reason, Heronium is only able to affect teenagers under the age of 18 and once those teenagers reach that age, their powers are gone and they live as normal humans after that. Darcel then created an agency called "SUPERHUMANS, INC." which recruited all teenagers who were both worthy and willing to have these bizarre powers. About a couple years later, a 14-year old boy named "Oliver DaCosta" moved into Norandopolis with his miother, Hilary and found a "Powerball" in his new bedroom after some random superhuman crashed into his bedroom and then escaped. Suddenly, the ball transported Oliver to these two superhumans named SuperPouf and SuperWhatsHisName that were currently on a mission on fighting "Blobbert", a big green slime monster that kinda just goes attacking the city for no reason (and may I infer that it's always the same EXACT city he attacks). Oliver somehow defeated the big pile of sludge and was recruited to Superhumans, Inc. SuperPouf was assigned to be Oliver's mentor. SuperPouf teaches Oliver about how a superhuman acts and what they do, but he usually just gets beat up by Oliver a lot. Oliver later got the name "SuperCrash" since he 'crashes' into a lot of things! SuperCrash however has his own problems as well. Most of the townsfolk don't enjoy having superhumans around since they go everywhere and act like spoiled brats but what's even worse is that Oliver's mother, Hilary absolutely dispises superhumans so Oliver has to keep his secret away from her or he'll probably die or whatever. That's pretty much what happens in this story but I believe you want to actually read the thing so I'll give you these beautiful links to the characters and where to read it.

SuperCrash:  Oliver DaCosta was a completely random spoiled brat. That was until he was given these new powers and was assigned to Superhumans, Inc. as "SuperCrash". With his powerful laser attacks, he can wipe out any enemy with huge blast (well, at least he would if he were to joint his fingers together). However, some enemies are invulnerable to his laser attacks giving SuperCrash the disadvantage. But despite his disadvantages, he always finds a way to defeat his enemies (usually ridiculous ways). Though he was gifted a really powerful ability, he's only recently become a hero so he still wouldn't fully understand what he can do. Plus, he's also kinda dumb. What's even worse is that he has to live with his mom, who absolutely HATES Superhumans so SuperCrash would have to hide his superhuman name away from his mother. Whether he's a cute and charming little boy or spoiled and idiotic brat really just depends on the scenario he's currently in. But that's SuperCrash for ya! 

SuperPouf:  Jude Withenshaw is a quite serious yet perverted superhuman. As somebody who's been a Superhuman for quite a while, he's bound to be a professional! Okay, maybe not a professional, maybe more like a completely random guy who was chosen to be a mentor since they had no one else better for the job or something like that. His "light" powers give him the ability to shine lights from his belly and use that light to as some sort of beam (yet I drew the light coming from his right hand in this picture, oops). Though he can be a pretty intimidating, SuperPouf has actually lost half of his powers ever since the incident so he's pretty weak in a way. Oh yeah, he's also a pervert, did I mention that yet? Oh yeah, and if you were to ever ask me whgo my favorite character of the comic is then it would have to be this complete turd right here

SuperWhatsHisName:  Edward is a very interesting type of Superhuman. He fights alongside SuperPouf with his amazing "ice" powers! SuperWhatsHisName's ice powers give him the ability to freeze anything he touches with his bare hands! However, he can't really control his power so he can even accidently freeze one of his friends just by giving them a high-five. This means that he has to wear gloves for pretty much the whole time. That makes another questions, how come his gloves don't freeze? Maybe they're magic gloves! Edward is a pretty friendly and noble Superhuman, pretty much one of the only mature(?) Superhumans in the agency. Only bad part about him, he's pretty much impossible to understand without a translator around. For some bizarre reason, whenever he says a word, the letters are all scrambled up, except for the first and the last letter, unless he says a one letter word or a two letter word. If he says a three letter word, then only the second and third letter will be switched around. Overall, he's a pretty 'cool' guy............. do you get it?
