Hello everyone!! I'm about to post the new batch.

A reminder; sometimes I get too many requests for a batch, so if I tell you I can't take new requests, please, stop sending them. I'm sorry some of you can't get requests, but sometimes I get overwhelmed because of family or work stuff. For example, I'm a Medic, so at times I gotta do some online curses to update my knowledge; this year I'll be doing 3 curses in March, so please don't send me more April requests since I'll probably have no time to draw them. If I already told you I'll be doing an April pic, you'll get it since I compromised for those pics, but I can't promise I'll have time to draw new ones.

 Now, very important... READ THE JOURNAL. I keep explaining the rules over and over again even after I post them in pretty much every journal, and because of that they keep asking for requests in notes and messages, not wanting to follow the journals' rules. I'm sorry I have to be strict about this, but it's the only way I can do the requests and still have time to draw a few of my own ideas. I know it's harder to get the journal now because Eclipse has no alerts, but still try to make an effort and read the journal before commenting.

Also, I will NOT TAKE NON-BIRTHDAY REQUESTS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. As I've explained several times already, I had been very delayed because of various issues, starting with the hurricane season in 2020,  and then some family issues coming from my brother's divorce and my family supporting him, that has been affecting since December 2020. So I can't use my old idea of making a raffle for new request spots. I'm sorry about this, but really, I had been lacking time for a while now, and the birthday requests keep me occupied enough.  As said before, I'm still taking birthday requests, that must be made 2 months ahead of time; and, just like with the normal requests, keep the pics as simple as possible. On average, I do 30 - 40 birthday pics per month (some months I do even more), and some are very complex, so, if I get too many b-day requests,  sometimes I have to refuse doing some, despite the requester being on time. I'm considering not taking more than 30-something requests per month so I'll have enough time to draw everything.

Also, VERY IMPORTANT, don't send me the birthday requests at the last possible moment; some of you send me the birthday requests like, just a bit over a month before the birthday's date, and by that time I've already planned my drawing schedule and I can't add new stuff.   Another important detail; when you ask for your pic, give me all the details as soon as possible; sometimes people send me new notes asking for changes on the pic, like, replacing a character, or adding some dialogues and whatever, and many times, by then, I've already finished the pic. So please, think about whatever you want in the request, and then send the note with the description, and if you want to make a change, do it as soon as possible, so I can add that change before drawing the pic.    Also, if you send a reference pic for your request, get sure you send a good one; I've had trouble with some people who didn't like their request because the character had a different skin tone, hairdo or hair color... and they forget that I did the pic based on the reference image THEY sent, so it's not my fault; even worse, they sometimes ask me to redo or fix the pic, and by then I usually don't have the time.

Remember to write the birthday's month in the request's note.   A few of you have asked for 'late' birthday requests, as in, if they can't get a birthday request on time, they still send me the birthday request and ask me to post it on a later month. I CAN'T compromise to do those pics because I already have enough with the normal requests and birthday pics. Remember that you're not the only ones asking for requests, and, if you don't get a spot, it's not my fault or anyone else's; I say this specially for those who post insulting comments or try to guilt-trip me into doing the pics. Many of you, when not getting a spot, say 'Thanks for nothing' or 'Go do pics for the people you like'; please, stop doing that. There had been people that, after telling them I can't do their pics because I no longer have the time, go as far as blocking me before I can even explain why I can't take that request.

Also, when you send the request's note, write the full month's name; for example, if your birthday is in August, don't write just 'Aug' in the title, because I send all the requests to a folder, and when I search them for the drawings, I'll miss your request because I do the search with the complete name.

Another thing; a few of you have made double requests in the past, claiming it's a birthday one. Please, don't lie about that; if you already got a birthday request, then wait for another person to get a shot instead of asking for new birthday pics on different months. Sometimes I don't realize it on time, and I end doing extra pics that take time from other people's legitimate requests; that's why at times I get delayed on doing some requests and I need to hurry up to do them for a later batch, which is unfair for the requesters that follow the rules.  

 Now, about the pics, for 'still' images, with the characters just standing there, I can do up to 4-6 characters per pic, depending on how complex they are; sometimes the characters are simple enough and I can draw more, but, in those cases, I need to discuss the pics' details with whoever is requesting it. For action shots, like characters fighting, running or doing whatever action, just 2-3 characters per pic. And if you want a 'Mecha' (giant robot) or similar, keep the pic VERY simple, because those characters that are the hardest for me to draw. I know I usually take up to 8 characters for still images, but, again, I've been lacking time. Some of the pics in this batch have that many characters, but that's because the requests were done 3-4 months ahead of time, or even before that, back when I actually had more time to draw, so I'd already compromised to draw them.  If you ask for very complex characters (like those with difficult-to-draw outfits) I might ask you to limit the number of characters in the pic. This can be discussed via private notes.

Also everyone, remember, when you guys know I'm gonna post a batch, don't send me lots of notes. I often get delayed because of all the notes asking me when I'm gonna post, if I can take the requests already, if I can take a request even if the person couldn't make it to the journal... Seriously, that's kinda annoying, and it delays me to finally post the pics. Also, sometimes I get delayed by work or family stuff, so please be patient.

 And please, STOP ANNOUNCING YOUR REQUESTS ON THE COMMENTS, specially now that I'm not making the raffles. Also, don't ask questions in this journal, because I'll get delayed to post the pics if I need to keep replying them.
