Commissions

Advanced Photo Edit
Please visit my Commissions journal and read over what I do and do not do. For the advanced photo edit I will require a RAW file as anything less will not be of good quality and I can't physically make some of the changes needed in the edit as the photo information is not there. If you only have a JPEG file please look at the basic photo edit option.

Commissions OPEN for photo editing Right now I am offering 2 types of photo editing. Basic and advanced. Work will be done between 2-7 days after I have received payment.
BASIC EDIT is  700 points or $7.00 US dollars per photo and will consist of
- sharpening details
- fixing exposure (note that if the highlights are super blown out or shadows are clipped and very dark with no detail, i might not be able to fix it all)
- enhancing darks, whites, shadows, highlights, and contrast
- enhancing color
- sharpening
- adjust temperature ( if the photo is too blue or yellow due to lighting, note that indoor photos will take much more to fix if they are an odd color, look at advanced option for commission)
Some examples of a basic edit on some of my own work

Above photo was enhanced with contrast, highlights, white, shadows, darks, and sharpness

Above photo was exposure corrected and overall enhanced

- Can give your photos a faded look
- Convert to black and white and edit accordingly
- Add extra pops of color using tone curve and split toning ( most of my own work uses this technique )
- More in depth color correction
- Correct noise
- Will use local adjustments (brush, radiated filter, etc to enhance photo) (all my photos use these techniques)
Basic Photo Edit
Please visit my Commissions journal and read over what I do and do not do, as well as the advanced Photo Edit option as that might be better suited to your photo. I require a JPEG at the very least to work with. Anything of higher quality will result in a better edit, but is not necessary.

Photography Tutorials

I've recently been writing tutorials. I'll put them here for anyone to use! I'm open to suggestions if there is a topic you want to see .

The APN Guide: How To Shoot Aquatic LifeWith vibrant colors, dazzling textures, and many different shapes and sizes. Aquatic life can be some of the best subject matter to shoot, but also one of the most challenging. For this tutorial we will be sticking to shooting on land.
Here are some of the challenges of aquatic photography and how to overcome them.
Lighting / What settings should I use?
Most places you can shoot aquatic life are found indoors, such as pet stores and aquariums.  These places more times then not have no natural light and are very dimly lit.  The first thing to keep in mind while shooting is that the glass and water you will be shooting through will reduce the light even further.
To get the most out of your light source I find it best to use a wide open aperture such as f2 or f4. This will allow you to use a faster shutter speed and will blur out anything distracting in the background. Next you want to  have a shutter speed that is low enough to help with y
The APN Guide: How To Shoot Flowers Big or small, with many shapes, sizes, and colors. Flowers can be an amazingly diverse subject matter to shoot. You can find them just about anywhere. Around your neighborhood, at a local park, or your front yard. You can even visit a local plant nursery.  Because flowers are easy to access they are a great subject to practice learning how to set up composition in your photos.
Here are a few tips to help you get started.

Picking your flower

One of the most important parts of floral photography is picking your flower. You will want to think carefully about this question. Does the flower you choose have petals missing? Does it have little holes from a bug eating it?  Do you want to highlight these imperfections or are you looking for a more pristine flower to shoot?  If you are in a place with many different types of flowers, you might be a little overwhelmed at what to choose.  Think about what part of the flower you l
