Red Rocket Pickup
Pencil sketch on old cardstock of what my "Red Rocket" Gaslands pickup might have looked like, once upon a time, before being converted into a post-apocalyptic retro-futuristic battle machine.  I did this sketch today while on a business trip.  (I'm trying to get back into the habit of actually DRAWING things more often, even if so far it's only unfinished sketches.)  "Red Rocket" logo is inspired by the fictitious "Red Rocket" business from the Fallout series of games (Bethesda/Zenimax).

Birthday Sketch - Gaslands Sasta
Quick sketch done while at the airport, as a last-minute doodle to celebrate Koogrr's birthday today.  Pictured is "Sasta," a one-eyed anthropomorphic cougar who often appears in some variant as an RPG character that Koogrr plays (e.g., "Captain Sasta" in an Ironclaw campaign ... and another "Captain Sasta" in our Pirates of the Mysterious Islands RPG campaign).  I have no idea what particular game systems Koogrr might be interested in at the moment, but I've been spending a lot of time with Gaslands (post-apocalyptic miniatures game using 1:64 scale toy cars, from Osprey Publishing, so I figured I'd use that for a theme.

"Scan" is awful because it's just a digital photo with some clean-up and level-adjustment.  If I get this inked and/or colored, I'll post that later to replace this placeholder.

Wicked Shipping Post-Apocalyptic War Rig
"Hot Wheels Track Stars Custom Volkswagen Hauler" modified with bits, paper, and putty to serve as a "War Rig" for post-apocalyptic games of Gaslands (Osprey Publishing).  The miniguns are from a HeroClix "Foolkiller" plastic figure, while the armor-plated stations atop the trailer are from a couple of Dropzone Commander Resistance Battle Bus tops.  (I've got other plans for the buses themselves.)  Other bits are from assorted plastic pieces I got from a grab-bag deal, so I'm not sure how to identify them all.

Scenery consists of some Halo Micro-Ops buildings, Hot Wheels "city" tracks, and Secret Weapon Miniatures "Rolling Hills" Tablescapes terrain.

"Wicked Shipping" is a fictitious shipping company from Fallout 4 (Zenimax / Besthesda).

Reaper Victorian Lady 80068a
This is another one from the same "Victorians" set (Reaper Bones Chronoscope #80068) as my previous "Victorian Lady" mini.  32mm plastic ("Bonesium") gaming miniature from Reaper Miniatures, painted with acrylics, re-based on a modified resin 25mm round gaming base from War Cast Studios (here painted up in an attempt to look like the edge of a fancy rug).

This was painted up for use in Victorian-esque Savage Worlds RPG settings such as Deadlands Reloaded, Fort Griffin, Runepunk, Wonderland No More, Rippers, or Space: 1889 - Red Sands.  (Of course, it might work well for a number of NON-Savage-Worlds settings, but those are the ones I have on my "bucket list" to run -- or run again -- some day.)

Reaper Victorian Lady 80068c
32mm scale plastic miniature from Reaper Miniatures pack "Victorians" (80068), painted in acrylic, and re-based on a 25mm round Reaper plastic base, with texture-stamped epoxy putty -- my second finished mini of 2019.

I'm still working on the faces for the other two minis in this pack.  I just finished this one up in the morning when I couldn't sleep, before heading off to the airport to catch an early-morning flight.  I imagine I could use this as a bystander for a Deadlands Reloaded street scene, or for Fort Griffin -- or perhaps even for Wonderland No More (back in real-world London).

Recently, I've helped out with a few "figure flat" illustrations for the sci-fi/cyberpunk setting of "Interface Zero 2.0" (from Gun Metal Games), and I also wrapped up a sci-fi/horror campaign using a slight variation on the same setting.  (I was using the beta test rules, so some of the details of my setting were put together before all of the "fluff" came out for the proper IZ setting.  My version of Ceres, for instance, is a bit more remote and claustrophobic and horror-appropriate than the version that appears in the space supplement for IZ 2.0.)

Anyway, some of my more recent uploads are samples of the "flat art" done for a project related to that for the IZ 2.0 Kickstarter.  The idea is that, in lieu of having 3D miniatures, you might use little paper fold-ups that have pictures of characters and creatures to represent their positions on the table.  The artwork would end up being shrunk down to about 1" to 1.25" tall, so it's okay that it's a bit rough and sketchy.  Some of them suffer a bit more than others for being blown up large enough to show off here, so I'm definitely not sharing the whole lot of them.

Interface Zero 2.0 is a trademark of Gun Metal Games ( www.gunmetalgames.com ).
Savage Worlds is a trademark of Pinnacle Entertainment Group ( www.peginc.com ).

Wow, it's amazing to find you on dA! I bumped into your Unicorn gallery sort of two years ago, and I loved it since then! Then, one year later, I became a brony, and now I discover you draw MLP stuff too! It's just too awesome *-*
I really love your art, your unicorns are gorgeous ^3^

Thanks! I'm glad you appreciate it. I have some nieces and cousins who are really into MLP, so I've gotten a few requests -- plus, one of my fellow gamers has run a "Ponyville Horror" (Call of Cthulhu/MLP crossover) adventure as a gag at "RavenCon" in the Carolinas, and I drew up some designs of PCs and NPCs as paper figures for the game. I actually have a few "pony adventurer" designs I need to get around to finishing up in Adobe Illustrator, so I can put together a pdf of paper figure flats of "generic pony adventurers."

Great! Unfortunately I've never found occasion to do MLP-related RP - also RP in general, though I'm a fan of them...gamer pals are so rare to find! - but nonetheless I'm always interested in seeing your works :D

In case it might be relevant, here's the "My Savage Pony" thread from the Pinnacle forums -- where basically a few people have tried to adapt the Savage Worlds RPG in various ways to run "My Little Pony" themed adventures (with varying degrees of trying to stay true to the cartoon, or to take it off in completely different directions).

Just wanted to say, with me being new to dA and all, you have been amazingly supportive. You've gone above and beyond the call of helping a newbie out. Your quirky comments and incredibly nice compliments make my day:D
