This is a portrait of my lovely wife done in text art.

I made this for her as a card and thought it would be fitting to upload this today.

All the words I used are words and phrases that has meaning to me and our relationship. These are words that reminds me of her. These are words that makes sense to just us and carry such fond memories. And when I put all these words together, it's more than words... I see a picture of my wife.

I like it - but the first thing that caught my eye was that thinker was spelled wrong! (Not meaning to be negative but as a signmaker looking out for spelling mistakes is a part of the job)

I thought your illustration so amazing that I took the liberty of using it for a poem I composed and posted in my own blog (www.osilencioentreaspalavras.blogspot.com). The poem is in Portuguese, and I'm very sorry for not being able to traslate it by now for you. It's about the presence and the absence of the words, and how they are related to our souls. I put a reference for the image that links it to here.
Congratulations, man, and thank you so much for sharing it.
Fernando de Souza.

Wonderful!

Has Tim Botts seen this? He is a calligrapher and would be interested, I think.

Its fun, shows great spirit, and is quite unique. Was it done in Photoshop Cs5?

And then all the wives and girlfriends
who see this will think to themselves:

"Why doesn't MY husband/boyfriend draw ME out of such favorable words and phrases?"

Gentleman, the bar once more has risen.

I love this! I did the same sort of thing for a self portrait i made 2 weeks ago, but it was just straight lines of text. I like your approach a LOT.
And that's one of my favorite verses on the left. Very nice. =)
