Description
Back in December 2009, my brother asked for an impossible dream – a real Pokéball with a Lucario inside. I told him, "Mate, Pokémon ain't real," but then I had a "lightbulb moment": why not create my own concept of realistic Pokéballs on Photoshop?
The old version was a bit too "photoshopped" for my liking, so I decided to give it a fresh, new look almost 3 years later!

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis image does have some impact, vision, and a bit of originality. Personally, I like that the hand looks like a painting, the Pokéball is realistic, and Lucario looks like a cartoon. This is a good usage of mixed media! From college experience, I don't think there is anything wrong combining different types of images.
When you look at the hand, you feel like it's gripping the item very firmly. However, everything in the picture is blue. Some images look good when they're monochromatic. Others are better off with 2 or more colors. This image needs more color variety. Lucario seems like he is trying to break out of the object, otherwise you can't tell what is happening in this picture. The ball already has a spec of purple. There should be either purple or red spreading throughout the top-half of the Pokéball. This would represent Lucario's anger. The rest of the image has impact.
