Frostsmile by JonasGouraud Frostsmile by JonasGouraud
It's the first time I open a shot on my computer and just goes like "well... I don't know what to do with this one, it's already what I want". This feeling, maybe you know it, is just awesome. I finally shoot what and how I want! But even so, lot of work remains for me to get better pictures.
Enjoy =)

Hey there! Thank you for submitting to :iconphotographyguide: for feedback!

The composition you chose is really good, the person with the intensive eyes in the left and staring into you is a great idea! :) (Smile)

Since you submitted for feedback, here are some suggestions for you:
For me it seems that the picture itself is too dark. Maybe this is what you wanted, but the details of your models face don't come out quite good in this kind of lightning and it seems more like a snapshot than a thoughtful picture.
You could try to work with even more indirect light to make her shine a little more and to enhance your picture by bringing out the details of your models face in here
;) (Wink)
But it is very good that you did not use the flash in this context at all! It would have destroyed the picture and the dark atmosphere and therefore it was a really good choice to not let the flash take its part in here.

I hope this helps, and if you have questions please ask! Argh! Stupid writer's block.

Thank you for the feedback =)
Indeed I wanted a dark atmosphere, and in general I'm not a fan of flash so I almost never use it. I worked this picture by yesterday evening, so now that I'm seeing it in daylight it seems indeed a bit too dark :/ I'll try to brighten it a bit!
