Last night a had a dream of a derelict church with shiny water in it. Had to paint something similar before I lost the idea (which is likely connected to my eternal love for FFVII)
Hope you like it.

It's strange, but all the moss and growth makes it even more beautiful. Ironically, it almost looks better in ruins than it probably did in full service.

I'm obsessed with the rafters and the light around them. It's all beautiful, but the mossy rafters I love for some reason! Thanks for sharing this with us!

I know this place from a pic of castle Mesen. You did a great job by making it look as an incredibly beautiful place. Love it

I looove this painting. And the brush set that came with it in the magazine is pretty much my default whenever I paint now. just jump back and forth between the chalk and texture brushes. Love love love your work!

Hey man can you give me a link to the brush set you are talking about .. Would really be appreciated ..:)

Oh yeah, it's on the CD that comes with "The Professional Photoshop Book, Volume 2".
You can pick it up at this link [link]

There's an excellent tutorial that Jonas DeRo wrote in that book which is worth the cover price alone.
