New Russia

With Russian bombers constantly needing to be intercepted and escorted away from British airspace, the annexation and/or invasion of parts of Ukraine and the rising concern that Life President Putin now has his eye on smaller Baltic states, I’m starting to think the offending nation needs to change one of its symbols.
The Bear just doesn’t suit Russia anymore. I suggest it be switched to the Piranha: A nasty little fish that likes to nibble at things around it.

When all this kicked off a year ago, I felt it rather hard to criticise, seeing how we were involved in the Iraq debacle: a war fuelled by lies to preserve the petrodollar rather than human lives.
What is currently going on in Eastern Europe initially seemed no more or less corrupt in its motivation. The monumental difference, however, is that while our self-serving leaders wanted the Iraq conflict to be contained, the egomanic Putin seems eager for the disruption of war on Europe's Eastern flank to spread.
