Description
You all know about Changelings, right? The insect-like race of shapeshifters that feed on the love of loved ones and all serve a singular queen. You all know them, right? Well, there's a secret about theses creatures that no one knows. All because it was hidden within the confines of every hive.
That secret is the existence of a sub-species of Changelings that they call Albino Changelings.
Albino changelings aren't very common, mostly being one out of thousands of eggs hatched. They are thought to be a genetic defect within the species due to how deformed it is upon hatching. While normal grubs usually crawl toward their queen instinctively, Albino's remain in their eggs, often being mistake for still-borns.

Appearance
As grubs:- Pale shell with dark, uneven splotches
- Crooked or deformed horn
- Black Sclera
- Erratic behavior and movement
As adults:
While they are children of the queen, no queen has ever allowed an albino changeling to live past it's hatching. They are born sickly and tend to die rather quickly on their own. Otherwise, they are usually either killed by the queen or left to die far from the other grubs. The only royal Changeling to attempt to raise them was Toxic Love, though he failed to keep them from dying. He never gets over this.
As far as anyone is concerned, there has never been a Albino that has survived to maturity. There are way too many things working against them. However, if one was to reach maturity, here's the things it would have to live with.
Cons:
- Pure white exoskeleton
- Pale mane
- Uneven holes
- Emaciated body
- Black Sclera
- Missing or deformed wings
- Crooked horn
- 'Cracks' in their shell
- Exposed teeth

Cons:
- A body that will never gain weight but will always be hungry.
- Limbs too weak to carry it most of the time.
- Wings that will (most likely) fall off one day.
- Being unable to consume Love. It's unknown what they live off of.
- A body that can't withstand sunlight for a long period of time without getting sick.
- Reduced shape shifting powers (they can only change into one form and it won't change from how you started).
- Isolation (Albino's have no loyalty to their queen mother or any hive queen.)
Pros:
Interesting side note: Albino's are almost always failed Queen's. Their body type match that of a prospective queen but due to their deformity, they are tossed aside before they can start a hive of their own. It is unknown whether a Albino Changeling can reproduce at all.
- Resistance to the cold
- Natural night vision
- Endurance. (it takes a really long time to die after that first hurdle)

I always loved Changelings and I pretty like this concept though. You just made a Original Species... Based on Changelings actually, but holy nuts, this... is... awesome...!!!
