Brilliant work! Thank you for making this lovely tutorial, it's very helpful!

Vision: Five stars! Everything is very clear and helpful, and the finishing result is fabulous!

Originality: Three and a half stars, I've seen many tutorials for underwater themed drawings, but this one is better than a lot to them I have seen.

Technique: Four and a half stars, wonderful! The half star is taken off just in name of the people who aren't into this style.

Impact: Four stars, I wouldn't exactly look at this in overview and just be like "Wow!" but on closer look, it does have a lot of impact! There's a lot to learn from this!

Overall this is wonderful, thank you thank you. This is a wonderful step by step and I shall be trying it out myself soon. Thank you for this fantastic contribution!
What do you think?

As far as vision goes! This is a wonderfull and well thought out tutorial that will help both beginers, and newcomer's both, a great deal i would think. The instruction's are so simple and easy to unserstand that even the fish would be able to follow them
As for originality i'm in favour of full marks because, as JJmyster22 said, there are many tutorial's on this subject but, it is the sheer simplistic and well presented accompaniment of the step by step art that makes this above many other's.
The technique i cannot falter as there is nothing to fault; it's all perfect (in my opinion anyway's :D).
As for impact! Impact is about both the mental and visual effect something will give to a person. By what i have typed here you can tell that it had mental impact upon me, and though visually i like images to have a little more strength in colour this is enough to sustain rememberance in my (or anyone els'e for that matter) mind for some time...longer than the fishes mind at least :lmao:
It get's a :+fav: from me. Thankyou and well done !

For the lineart, did you draw it on the canvas or did you use something already drawn?

Awesome tutorial! Would love to see more! ..maybe do a detailed one on the way you make skin so perfect & realistic..? [I noticed in this one you used more than just one color for the skin o.o ..I've always drawn skin with one color + darks & lights..maybe that's what I'm doing wrong..? xP] ..or maybe hair..? It would be interesting to see how you do it cause everyone does it differentlyy =P

May I ask why do we need to change the lineart's layer to Multiple?
ferriore Featured By Owner Oct 13, 2012  Hobbyist General Artist
Excuse my friend, but I have a couple of questions, hope you don't mind... How small is the brush you used to sketch? And if I sketch in a smaller size, do I have to use a smaller brush??

Your tutorials are indeed helpful by the way! Keep your awesome work!!
