TRIVIA

1. As part of their preparation for the movie, Sharon Packard and Lynette Moodey were strapped together back-to-back for 90 days prior to filming, to learn to function while joined at the back.

2. They also watched episodes of the Indian anthology series Khidki, from a storyline about conjoined twins, to observe how they functioned.

3. The scene where Janice & Katie take turns painting their toenails was improvised, and filmed in one take.

4. Despite the title, and setting(The film was set in late Feburary, 1985, during the time when "Careless Whisper" was at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100), the only part of "Careless Whisper" that actually appears in the movie is the saxophone solo as part of the score, albeit played backwards, which was only realized upon hearing a recording of the score.

5. Even though composer James Oliveri didn't intentionally add the saxophone solo played backwards into the score, he still gave George Michael and Andrew Ridgley(the writers of the song "Careless Whisper"0 composer co-credit on the score, to be safe.

6. Sharon Packard and Lynette Moodey were given a joint billing(as "Sharon Packard & Lynette Moodey), as well as a joint submission for Academy Award, Golden Globe, and SAG award nominations.
