Print advertisment for Gemini antiperspirant for women, from 2001. This particular advert was created for the Latin American market, as well as Spanish language publications. Although this particular ad features real life twin sisters, unlike later versions aimed at African Americans and for the Asian market, these particular twins were not born conjoined, but as with many other pairs of models in the history of the campaign, were made to appear conjoined via the magic of photomanipulation. As for these particular twins, although their names were not used in the advert itself, they have been publicly idnetified as Gabriela and Consuela Villalobos, natives of Guadalajara, Mexico, who emigrated to the United States with their family when they were 3 years old. Coincidentally, the twins and their family moved to the town of La Habra, California, which is nicknamed "Guadalahabra", due to its significant Hispanic population.
