Dani and Keri at 30

FROM THE ISLAND OF FORGOTTEN ANIMATION

A 2023 spinoff of the anime The (Mis)Adventures of Dani & Keri Farris, the Siamese Twin Sisters Joined at the Shoulder, running for 48 episodes. In this series, Dani and Keri Farris have just turned 30. Keri recently got married to a man named Barry, while Dani recently came out as lesbian, and is dating a woman named Lisa.

TRIVIA

1. According to this series, Keri met her husband during the events of Welcome to Paradise.

2. The first episode establishes their older brother, Brian Holt, had been retired from professional wrestling for a year, after a botched move left him paraplegic.

3. In the series, it's established that Keri's husband is a fan of Kid Kestrel, but until episode 24, is unaware Kid kestrel is his brother in law.

4. The series ends with Keri learning she's pregnant. This was a deliberate choice, to end the series on a cliffhanger, which will be resolved in a future movie.

5. The cold open of episode 21, where Barry(Keri's husband) and Lisa(Dani's lover) discuss becoming artificially conjoined to one another came from a joke by Barry's voice actor.

6. The 3 series had been animated in different animation styles. The original series was animated in manga style, while Welcome to Paradise was computer animated in Pixar style, was drawn in a semirealistic animation style. A follow-up series, in which both twins deal with motherhood, is in pre-production, and is planned to be drawn in the style of 1970s Hanna-Barbera Saturday morning cartoons.

7. Although the previous series A Quarter Century of Chaos ended with Dani and Keri being separated and fitted with prosthetic arms, that is retconned out in this series as being a recurring dream.
