For the longest time I'd wished I could strike out on my own and make a go of doing illustration, comics, or writing full time... you know, ditch the day job, answer to no one. Well, those prayers were answered Jan 2nd when the company I worked for laid me off. :-POur creative team had been struggling with finding work, and after a full year of the 10 of us scraping by, they decided to let 2 of us go. 12 years is a long run at a company these days. It's a good place to work, filled with brilliant, amazing people. I'll miss it... BUT... that just means I get to live my dream right?So, here I am, all week long trying to figure out what I'm g...

So, last update I did was when I started Zombie Bomb! Comic Anthology... Today I turned in my last cover for them. It's been a long 2 years working on Zombies.  Thankfully it's over, and I'm moving on to working on some creator owned stuff... one of them is an Alien/Jungle Adventure I'm writing, Craig Rousseau's drawing it (Lawrence Basso of course is coloring), I'll be illustrating another one that Todd Dezago and I came up with.  Then there's coloring all the Johnny Raygun stuff and try to find someone who will collect the colored work in trade. Lots to do! So better get back to work!
