Description
After getting herself banned from the cemetery and nearly losing her beloved pet Fangs to a zombie summoned by the accursed Darkhold, Lucy breaks up with the Morticians Club after being scolded by Logan and a man named Eric Brooks for messing with the dead and disrespecting the cemetery. The stunt she pulled was seen as a big insult to Logan's Bushido honor as Lucy's been saved and protected only to put herself in danger again because of her gothic lifestyle, with Logan feeling that she's taken her honor for granted. Lucy returns home with Fangs, ashamed and regretting.
The Nightcrawler, a variant of Lucy from Earth TLH-MU, a mutant German devout Catholic who saved the Club from the undead, visits Lucy, who is lamenting about what she's done while nursing Fangs. She formally introduces herself, and as a faithful follower of Christ, it becomes her pious duty to bring her gothic counterpart out of her surrows through love, optimism, and forgiveness, through the Bible. From Psalms to Romans, she has her counterpart read the Holy Book for herself so that one day, she'll find it in her heart to forgive herself and her old friends.
