When Bobby heard news that lead to a disastrous succession of events: The April Fools gone horribly wrong, Lucy getting pranked with bleach and abandoned, Luan almost dying, and Bobby's little "bro", Lincoln almost kicking the bucket to a hoard of Interdimensional ninjas, he breaks up with Lori for her complicity in her family's insanely cowardly way of dealing with the pranks, and her failure to protect Lincoln and his little sister.

Lori breaks down in tears and, like the theatrical and over the top teenager that she is, is desperate at getting back to her "Boo boo bear" even if it meant "literally" forcing Lincoln into yet another double date with Ronnie Anne.

The two siblings engage in yet another heated squabbling, with Lori's furious face pelted with the flowing mascara from her teary eyes, wearing a blue sweatshirt. Lori grabs Lincoln by his shirt just like last time, despite Ronnie Anne's pleas to let Lincoln go and allow him to explain himself, as he delivered the break up news from Bobby on the phone to Lori. And all of a sudden, James "Logan" Howlett, the Wolverine, intervenes, having got irritated from the commotion from upstairs as she was listening to Lucy's latest poem on their shared bed. Seeing the way Lori grabbed "the runt", Lincoln, by his shirt close to his neck, Wolverine, without a second wasted, immediately separated Lincoln and Lori by force, grabbed Lori by her shirt, forced her to kneel, and launched her fist into Lori's face, hitting her twice, the first hit breaking her nose, and the second hit pelting her cheek. Logan tries to hold back the power of her punches due to the metal strengthening her bones, but the berserker in her is in near total control. The cartoonish physics that defined and protected the Louds from permanent injuries is all but nullified, as each hit from Logan's fist results in serious real life injuries. If it weren't for Lincoln telling Logan to stop, Lori would've been killed, or worse. All to remind the Louds that she has a zero tolerance policy for any immature and racuous behavior in the house, and that Lori holds no longer any authority in her family.
