Disney New Management Of 2006 20th Anniversary
It's the 20th anniversary of when Bob Iger became the CEO of the Walt Disney Company, where he bought Pixar for billions of dollars, Steve Jobs (the owner of Pixar) becoming the chief shareholder in the company, the Feature Animation department reopening after shutting down two years earlier, and John Lasseter put in charge of Imagineering in the theme parks.
Also, Lasseter was the chief creative officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios for over 10 years. This was an era where the animation studio was slowly improving on their CGI animated films, after the successful and embarrassing Chicken Little a year before. Lasseter also changed DisneyToon Studios to switch from making DTV sequels (lasting to 2008), and only making more original content (which are mostly Tinkerbell spin-offs, and two Planes movies).
