Have you noticed my lack of uploads within the last 4 - 5 months? Yeah, I tend not to notice that stuff either. On the bright side, I bought a 12.2 in Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro. Basically, it's a big Android tablet made by Samsung with "Galaxy" written on it so you know it's good. I bought a Note 2 back in March of '13 so I figured buying a full size tablet with the same style stylus would be worth it. And boy was I right. Using a cool app called "ArtFlow" I'm able to draw using the stylus and it ignores palm placement on the screen but gestures like pinching to zoom are still enabled. This works great for me because I've tried Wacom's cheapo graphics tablets but my mind isn't wired for that sort of thing. This tablet/app combination provides a quick and feature right drawing experience that in my opinion is much better than drawing on paper. The ability to zoom and erase by clicking the button on the stylus is awesome. I think there's something like 50 brushes and customizable color palettes too. This isn't a promotion or anything I just figured I'd share my experience as of late with this awesome technology. If you've always wanted to draw but didn't want to deal with eraser marks, accidentally smudging your work, and couldn't afford buying all the drawing supplies than this combination is a great way to spend $700+ on a big ass tablet.
* Yes, I know you can get plenty of drawing supplies for $700 but that's not the point.
What is your experience with tablets and/or drawing?
