It has become very apparent that DAZ will never allow users to create dForce Strand Based Hair (or even discuss the topic). So I have decided not to waste any more time with DAZ Strand Based Hair experiments or DAZ Studio. I thought I would share what I have created so others can learn from my mistakes. This is another animation experiment using the new strand based hair in DAZ Studio 4.11 and Iray. This time I used some "idle" and "transition" aniblocks from "Dog Motions for Daz Dog 8" on the "Warg HD for Daz Dog 8" model with the custom strand based hair settings I created.

This is my first animation experiment using the new strand based hair in DAZ Studio 4.11 and Iray. I used the walk in place aniblock from "Dog Motions for Daz Dog 8" on the "Warg HD for Daz Dog 8" model with a custom strand based hair I created. I can't help but think that it would be so much better if I could create Dynamic Strand Based Hair in DAZ Studio :)
This is a quick test render of Stonemason's "Urban Future 5" using a spherical camera at 6000X3000 @ 25 iterations (2 min render) and processed through Declan Russell's Denoiser. This is another test of Declan Russell's Denoiser on a DAZ Studio Iray render. This time I wanted to see what happens when the Denoiser was applied to DAZ Studio's canvases. This image was again rendered at 3840X2160 @ 10 Iray iterations (1 min render time), but this time I had it include both a Beauty and Depth canvas output. Then I ran everything through denoiser.exe (6 sec each) and combined them all in Photoshop. The only post work was applying the "Lens Blur" filter using the Depth canvas to simulate some DOF.
