University Collaborative Project, Third Year, Time Machine, 2010/11
This was a collaborative project to design and build a modular time machine for specialist prop and set dressing supplier Bobs Bits.
The prop is mainly made from American black walnut (solid and veneer), acid etched brass plate and period age found objects.
This project is now owned by Bob Thorne and can be bought or rented from the Bobs Bits website: www.bobsbits.tv

It reminds me of the radio telescope (or "Marconiscope") from the "Doctor Who" story "Pyramids of Mars".
In fact, I'd say that this is what the Marconiscope SHOULD have looked like, and probably would have if "Doctor Who" had the budget for it back in the day.
