Tug had decided that while Montana was having its second or third winter, ya know the one that hits in the middle of May… He and Icon would fly down to Australia to visit some friends, spend time on the beach and enter some shows! The first show we had found included all our favorite things, Halter and THE BEACH! While Icon is mainly a roping stallion it’s always good for your horse to be good at different things. It’s good for his mind to see and hear new things. It was good for him to get a vacation and get away from the breeding shed and roping pen. Successful breeding stallions should be able to go from the halter pen to their desired discipline without an issue. Of course Icon was the perfect gentleman as always and never batted an eye at the Mare in front or around us. We managed to capture this image of Icon and Tug while Tug was in the middle of squaring Icon up. We like to believe Icon has the perfect conformation and for the most part others agree, which is why we love entering him into end hand shows. It helps back up our statement about him being perfect! So not only is he the perfect gentleman around any and everything, the prettiest thing you’ll lay your eyes on, he’s also super athletic and loves his job in the roping pen, has exceptional conformation.
