Hello all. I'm King John; you're you; and you're awesome. So, Israel struck at the Kingdom of Qatar, attacking a big meeting of Hamas' leadership, and now a lot of people are upset about this. But those people who are upset over it seem completely ignorant of how the Israelis justify the attack, and so they don't actually make any argument against it. As a King, I feel I have a duty to encourage intelligent debate and open conversation, and this often involves educating people. So, here is how the Israelis justify striking inside the nation of Qatar. Qatar is a state sponsor of terrorism, and the Israelis gave fair warning that they would attack Hamas anywhere in the Middle East, so if the Qataris didn't want Israel to attack Hamas inside Qatar, they shouldn't have let Hamas leaders stay in Qatar. I don't think Charlie Kirk ever changed my mind about anything - there are still some things about which I disagree with him, but he did have some impact on me, on my life and how I comport myself. What really impressed me about Charlie Kirk was how calm he was, especially when dealing with people who shouted insults without wanting to listen to any response; I've had trouble keeping my calm in dealing with unpleasant people, and Charlie Kirk gave me an example to- I don't think 'emulate' is the right word, but to measure myself against as I worked on improving myself and my character. Charlie Kirk didn't inspire me to get into politics - I was fairly active before I knew of him, but in an era in which increasingly radical and violent politics seems increasingly normal, the fact that he could speak peacefully with people from all over the political spectrum- well, frankly inspired me to want to do the same, to make

Hello all. I'm King John. You're you and while you remain awesome, the loss of Charlie Kirk leaves the world notably less awesome. Agree or disagree with him, and there were things he said I disagreed with, he was not by any stretch of the imagination violent or radical; the worst anyone could say of him is that bad people took things he said to justify their own preconceived beliefs, which could be said of any activist on any side of any political divide. Whether or not you agree with his politics, he proved that civil debate is still a powerful tool to win people's hearts and minds: his political success was a victory for peaceful politics over the more violent brand that seems to have become more popular in these recent years. Piotr walks alone through the fire station alone - normally, of course, the fire station would be filled with the entire on-duty company, but today they've all been placed off-duty. Piotr walks quickly through the eerily-quiet building; he is tall, over six feet tall, with a strong, proud jaw, the tall firefighter's body is broad and thick with muscle, his golden blond hair is cut short, his pale blue eyes twinkling above a cheery smile as he hurries to get his errand done - the rest of the company is out partying at the local bar, and Piotr would normally be there with them right now, but he came back to the stations to get something, which is why he is there walking through the darkening empty station as the evening descends into a thick night.
