Blu Ray Ionic State

There is a crack in the wall of the Bardo tunnel.
To the left of my bed the crack shows through
and into my room.
Can you hear those who tread there? I can.
They are all confused knowing not where
they are being led.

Our modern culture has not prepared us for death.
Folks think they can give their tithe and somehow
all will be well.

They do not know about the fall to come.

People actually think that God can be aware of single beings. Their ego is so inflated. They talk to God
when they wish for something or experience fear.

It never occurs to them that they might be created
to assist God. They only want to take.
They are lunatics with their instinctive/moving centre pulled upwards toward our Moon.

I can hear her sing it now
and again when her voice
rang out on the washboard.

A couple of weeks later I put the chicken
down the well and got a whipping
after Dad somehow fished her her out.

Earlier that spring we got a maytag wringer
machine and Mom was happy for that
whole summer.
