Gandalf Tells a Story

I've been hearing a lot about hobbits lately and this is the result; Gandalf the Gray and my favourite Tolkien scene. I haven't seen movie yet, but I'm going to. Next week. This particular scene won't be there, of course, because it happened later. This is rather complicated drawing: inks, several layers of watercolors, white gouache... just everything.
