She's immersed in the forest, and you encourage that feeling on the viewer's part with the diffuse light.

Her wings have a feeling of coming naturally out of her back ... perhaps I'll have to rethink my pteraphilean preference for feathered wings. Also, having them grow from along most of her back suggests more power and stability when she flies.

And, finally, we simply need many more red-headed winged women. That's all there is to it! {grin}
