This is one of the coolest techniques I've ever heard of! I think that this is a very clear, obviously well thought out tutorial, and it is defiantly something I'm going home to try. I don't really do much on deviantart any more, but if you're on facebook please come let me know! You can find me @ www.facebook.com/bittersweetpixieknot Again, this is really cool. Thank you so much!!!

so I didn't do such a good job with this, but I'm not going to give up yet.

Interesting!  Never seen this technique before...
Could work quite well I think, only thing that could be a problem with this one is the continuousness of the line. Ofificially a knot consists of one line only. However of that can still be remedied if one so desires afterwards.
Cool! I might try this to change things up somewhat for a change!

Interesting method for circle knots, and nice tutorial. You learned from Aidan Meehan's books, didn't you?

nope...a few tutorials from the net have parts of it, but no books...

Except that this one will end up having two separate strings. you can probably switch that around where the flower petals come together though.
I don't think I could do this particular way, but it is always interesting to see other ways :)

Yeah I'm never too worried about making a single strand. These usually turn out looking very natural anyways.

This type of stuff does my head in! I keep wanting to see if I can find the starting and end points. I end up googly-eyed! :D
