Hello, everyone!

Here's the October - November update/review on 2 artists! As always, I couldn't name all of the fantastic artists I had the honor of commissioning, because I wanted to give these artists their own special spotlight. But it definitely does not mean that their names won't show up on here in the future. And here they are, in no specific order!

Review: I have been following the artist for a little while now and it always astounded me how he was able to create an image so realistically, but at the same time, have some levels of "roughness" within an illustration. Don't get me wrong, the roughness does not decrease the quality of the artist's artwork, I think it enhances it - I find myself being able to identify his artwork this way. In regards to my commission, I believe it is one of the most realistic commissions I have ever had the pleasure of receiving. I believed it was a photo for the first few moments I was staring in-awe at it. Her clothing is so vividly red and each fold makes her pose much more dynamic, as if she is leaping out of the flames. Oh and the flames - simply incredible. Overall, it was an absolute pleasure to be able to commission the artist and an even greater pleasure to see the final product.

Review: I very recently discovered this artist and needless to say, their usage of colors is phenomenal. In regards to my commission, the overall process and communication was simple. I was shown a sketch and given an expected delivery date. Of course, I do not mind waiting since I firmly believe that good artwork takes time, but I do like to know when I can expect the artwork by - it gives me something to look forward to. When I received the final product, it was nothing short of beautiful and more than I could have expected. I adore the atmosphere, the way her face was shaded and the gleam of the sky - it all meshed well with the character. I am surprised to see that he was able to capture my character with just a few references and merely a line to describe her personality. Overall, great communication and outstanding final product.

Artwork:

And that's it for this month everyone! I encourage everyone who sees this to go over and check out these two amazing artists' galleries - you won't be disappointed! :) (Smile)

*Note: If the artists I mention in my posts do not want their names to be on them, please let me know and I will take their name off immediately. I do not wish to offend at all, I simply want to express my gratitude and hope I can help spread your artwork.

Thank you, that is very kind! I still have a long way to go, however. I'm still at the world-building stage :D But if you're ever interested, I'd be more than happy to discuss some of the details of the book with you!
