In June, we celebrated my youngest daughter's 10th birthday and attended ConCarolinas, where we sat behind George R.R. Martin during opening ceremonies (not that he knew we were sitting behind him, we're not pals or anything, we just breathed the same air). I also worked as social media assistant for ConTemporal. I saw your description and you reminded me a little bit of my daughter (yes, I'm OLD, I have a teenage daughter). She calls herself a "crazy old cat lady in training" and she likes video games and Tom Hiddleston. She likes to draw, mostly comics and illustrations, and she does "old lady crafts" (as she calls them) like cross-stitch and latch-hook. lol
