My steampunk jewelry designs appear in the books "Steampunk Style Jewelry" and "1000 Steampunk Creations: Neo-Victorian Fashion, Gear & Art." I authored two full-length science fiction novels, Stellarnet Rebel and Stellarnet Prince, published by Carina Press.

The last time I wrote anything on this site was over seven years ago! A lot has happened since then. I spent a week in the ICU after brain surgery and months in recovery from that, and then I helped my husband through two spinal surgeries. I've also dealt with mental health issues, which I wrote about for CheckPointOrg. I moved twice, turned 50, sent my oldest to college, started a video game channel on YouTube and joined AO3, where I post video game fanfiction. Last month, I tied for first place in the "Narrate Your Own Twilight Zone Competition 2021" sponsored by the Rod Serling Memorial Foundation. Winning entries will be performed by actor Stephen Dexter in a video posted on or before Christmas Day (Rod Serling's birthday) at RodSerling.com. I still haven't finished the Stellarnet Series but I did receive a rights reversion from my publisher. I plan to revise and update the series, possibly break it up into several shorter novellas, and create audio recordings on my YouTube

In June, we celebrated my youngest daughter's 10th birthday and attended ConCarolinas, where we sat behind George R.R. Martin during opening ceremonies (not that he knew we were sitting behind him, we're not pals or anything, we just breathed the same air). I also worked as social media assistant for ConTemporal. You can see some of the photos in my gallery. In July, we celebrated my oldest daughter's 14th birthday. While we took the summer off from homeschooling, I made a lot of jewelry. Nothing terribly exciting, just used up some of the odds and ends cluttering my studio. I started a new character in Skyrim, a Breton conjurer named Fleuri

The author layers interesting social commentary about romance, marriage, and family through the lens of an alien culture. The experience prompted me to question my assumptions about how we define romance both in this subgenre and also in real life. In that regard, Stellarnet Rebel stim

Thank you for the fav )
Thanks so very much for the watch, beautiful jewellery, especially loving the skyrim pendants. :)
I saw your description and you reminded me a little bit of my daughter (yes, I'm OLD, I have a teenage daughter). :) She calls herself a "crazy old cat lady in training" and she likes video games and Tom Hiddleston. She likes to draw, mostly comics and illustrations, and she does "old lady crafts" (as she calls them) like cross-stitch and latch-hook. lol
Aw that's sweet :) tell her I said hi.
I will. I need to get her to join DA, too.
Thanks for the Added to my devWatch! :la:
