Update 4 - Showing completed koi with blossoms. Outer left arm, half sleeve. Finished the inside arm today, also added blossom to bottom and top of piece to keep flow going past original design.

Just like your garden flowers, the hot and cool colors always gives good contrast. I don't usually offer advice, though here's a bit ... I'm partial to larger tattoos ... a nice big koi wraps so well around the arm I couldn't think of having it any smaller ...

Well i would like it as part of a sleeve i think, so would want it large.

Might very well use your Daisy photo as reference for my right arm sleeve ... nothing like using a great photo to show color and contrast ... the flower shot is perfect !!!

Thanks for the input - if I'd have been a tattoo collector when I was in Australia, I would have looked you up. I'm looking to add another half sleeve (another arm to go). I'm really enjoying the work.
