Another practice on female anatomy. Took in considerations from the previous one I did, I'm mindful of the belly button's placement and breasts this time. Overall I think this is fruitful study and I learned something. =)

First off, thumbs up for a body study that isn't an excuse to post a few naked men and women.

This is professionally and extremely well made. The lines are concise, the poses are clean, and nothing is muddled. I can clearly tell where one figure ends and another begins.

Some of these poses are refreshing for me to see; the two in the bottom right corner are interesting, and when I do see similar poses done in pieces they tend to be covered by something (clothes, piece of the setting, another figure's limb, etc.), or very blurry and not fleshed out. This provides a clear view to what the body would look like in those poses.

My only criticism is that the figures are not complete. It would be helpful to see the rest of the arms and legs, and how you would place the hands and feet. I'm interested to know.

As an artist who regularly uses figure studies, this is a very helpful and succinct study that does it's job well.

nowadays, it's really rare to have an artist who is willing to draw body studies. It's time consuming among other things but this artist took the time to do some of them. I've already loved the male study and would use it to improve myself on that sharp field which is anatomy and I'm very grateful that the Artist published it. This would help a lot of people so thank you for that.

About the technique, what can I say? It's very neat, clear enough for people to be able to train their eyes and hands. There are many poses, obviously the most used of them all. Maybe some perspective would be good to add to the studies some risky angles like from below or from above. but that doesn't mean it's not already excellent thanks a lot again!

Mate, to be perfectly fair, your study section is perhaps my greatest inspiration in adjusting my proportions of the body. Your drawings are very well proportioned and as such serve as excellent models for setting guidelines until I get a proper feel for it. Kudos to you, and thank you for your great work!

Thank you so much for posting these studies! It really helps me to improve my art and I really appreciate it. :)
The poses are dynamic and definitely help others see how the body would look in different positions.

I love how when artists give tips on drawing the male form, it's the actual anatomically correct male form, but when they give tips about drawing the supposed female form, it's always the prototypical unrealistic, unattainable sex object form shown in guys' fantasy drawings. As a physician who's gone through years of studying anatomy and interning at surgery, I can tell you with certainty that the supposed layout in your image is fantastically unrealistic. Don't get me wrong, you're an incredible artist, I'm not out to give you a hard time. But I'm just a little tired of seeing unrealistic depictions of women's bodies showcased as presumably being what women really look like.

Before you reply to this critical comment, please think of first replying to your countless fans who have lavished you with praise; they certainly deserve your attention and gratitude more than this comment does. Have a good day <3

May ask what’s not anatomically correct about it? Looked okay to me but as a growing artist I’d like to know what’s wrong here.

Are you seriously just posting this on any female body study?
Why don't you do it to the male ones? or are you just so offended because you're a girl and you feel attacked because of a damn anatomy study? What about the unrealistic male studies? Oh you don't care because it's not the same gender as you.

These are outstanding, again the subject's form is very well captured. The subtle shading of the ribs and abdominals is spot-on, as well as the collarbone and tendons in the neck. Great work! :clap:

I love when people draw human anatomy without making it something erotic. ;u;
