As for his relationship with his owner, I didn't really expand on it, maybe I should, but if you check the ... subtle details, you can understand that he loved being a butler (well he was created and programmed to be one!
), the look on his face is of someone who takes his job seriously and being proud to serve the guy.Also, the sad look on his eyes while his owner is old and sick.
Now as for the robot "emotions" that's something mostly left to anyone's imagination, how real they are. But certainly the technology in that world is so advanced that the robots are almost like real persons
To me, I always thought that his emotions are real.
Now I don't wanna spoil anything but there will be a few scenes with different kinds of robots that behave in another way, so I guess it all depends on their job!
