When I'm gone, make me a Pegasus.
Let my wings take me home.
Let me feel the winds of freedom flow through my mane,
and free me from the body I'm trapped in now.
When I die, send a Pegasus down
Have it take me to the skies above
To bounce on the soft, fluffy clouds
Finally rid of the pain of my old life.
When I'm in the sky, make me a Pegasus,
and I'll go down to the people I loved.
I'll watch over them and protect them,
even though I'm gone.
When I'm a Pegasus, I'll be happy
I'll love myself, and jump in glee.
I'll fill the silent air with my nickers of happiness,
and hopefully the people back on Earth will hear them.
When I'm a Pegasus, the people will know
Those who loved me, and those who let me go.
Because every night, high in the sky,
they'll watch me, a Pegasus, fly by
When you're gone, you'll be a Pegasus,
and I'll be there to greet you.
I'll grant you your wings, and we'll both be free.
Free from the hell that we've been trapped in.
