Entirely my pleasure

Wow!! The colors and form are exquisite. It just flows. I want to ask you something you might be able to help me with. How does one put elements together in a JWF fractal and place them where they want them to be. The only way I can figure is to use a graphic program that uses "Masks". Check out Trixiwillius and Momomondblume for examples. I am trying so hard to improve my art and don't know how. Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Also, I appreciate the faves, especially from you.

Thanks very much! :)

If you want to use separate fractal elements and combine them like Momomondblume, you need an editor like Photoshop or something similar. I personally use Photoshop for many of my artworks to some degree or other. I don't really use much masking in Photoshop. I do use a lot of masking in Ultra Fractal, but that is all done in the program.

Most of my JWF fractals are one or two layers done entirely in the program.

I use Photoshop for minor adjustments like brightness, contrast etc.

The fractals of Trixiwillius appear to me to be mainly one layer with no added elements.

Of course I didn't go through her gallery thoroughly, I only looked at a few of them.

I wouldn't worry much about masking, it isn't necessary to use when combining separate elements into one picture. If you look at Momomondblume's fractal Colorful Fractal Fish,

Colorful Fractal Fish

She does include a description of how she made it, and she does use masking because she also has used a drawing to base the body of the fish on.

I know other artists who render many different pieces of fractals and combine them into one picture. That can take dozens of separate elements to achieve and is not something I do myself.

Do you know how to manipulate JWF transforms using the nonlinear tab? That is where you can play around with the numerical values to make changes to your fractal. You don't need to know any math to do this.

Hope this helps somewhat, if you have any specific questions about the program and how to use it, I'd be happy to help if I can. :)

Thank you. Have you seen Paul Griffitts fractals. Go to his website and see what you think. I don't know how one puts different elements where they want them. I tried using the camera settings to move items around, but it didn't work. I need some lessons, I think.

Well, you can't move elements around inside of JWF, you have to do that with Photoshop or a similar program. I've tried to put two different fractals together in JWF to make one, but it is very hard to get them to line up properly. You should ask Leanndra how to do that, she told me how once, but I can't remember anymore. I like to figure things out on my own, but I do believe there are lots of tutorials available that you can make use of. Have you joined https://www.jwfsanctuary.club/ yet? You really should, there are lots of resources for you to take advantage of by joining. :D

Absolutely Beautiful!
