Bera Harkin and Kiruna Nachiman

Here's a scene with two Aes Sedai from Lord of Chaos. Although we don't see them fighting side by side at Dumai's Wells, I chose to put them together to show a little contrast with their descriptions. And besides that battle, the two were inseparable. Took me a considerable amount of time to finish - painting battle scenes is very difficult, and I realize painting multitudes of fighters can drive one crazy! Fortunately, while nearing the end of the background (and my wits), I discovered a faster way to paint Aiel!





SPOILER ALERT:

I usually insert little pieces of symbolism, here you see them as earrings - Kiruna's red roses, and Bera's silver lion heads. But after I posted this, I realized I subconsciously painted a strange thing, perhaps a small prophecy, perhaps not: no blade is pointed at Bera, while there are 3 blades pointing directly at Kiruna. If you've finished the series, I think you'll know what it means.
