Next Sunday is my family's Kimjang day.
What Kinjang day is a very unique, identical, and the most important day for every Korean family.
Let's hear about it, shall we?
Well, the most of all, since we have to make Kimchi for following "whole year" that the amount of kimchi we should make is incredibly amazing. Hundreds of cabbages we salt, and season for the next whole year. So that in order to complete the process, the whole family comes to my grandparents', even my far relatives. It's a sort of family reunion!
On the first day, it's the hardest day; we salt and salt, and salt the whole cabbages from market and my granny's cabbage farm.
Then we literally salt them with salty water. So my grandparents' front yard becomes a total mess.
It usually finishes after dark, so we usually go back to sleep and wake up early in the next morning.
