taken at a mini skate park near my house. Guys like him risk breaking a limb or two, not to mention skull fracture by riding their bikes or skateboards trying to pull off jumps and tricks,
all while not wearing a helmet. okay, i'm not one to talk as i used to do these things before when i was younger. but looking back and watching them do it, specially in a concrete bowl like that, just makes me nervous. Also consider the fact that some of them are impaired from smoking marijuana before and in between acts. i guess this and street
racing gets their thrill and adrenaline rush from knowing the danger it imposes on the participant. kids, don't try this at home.

Reminds me of my good old days of skateboarding when I didn't wear a helmet or any type of protective gear either. I didn't get into the really life-risking stunts though. 
I love how the colors and lighting turned out on this, and action is so clear in it. Did you use a film camera?

i like to say yes, but no i didn't.
Kind of looks like you did anyway. 
i was mimicking the lomography style with the holga's and things like that.

I just recently put a Holga on my camera wishlist after I saw what they can do. I really can't wait to get my hands on one, but I'm still playing around with a couple of the old 35mm cameras while I try to find where to get some 120mm film around here. I wonder if we still have an old Polaroid around my parents' house... I miss those things. Don't think they're being made anymore either. 
the polaroids, believe it or not, according to my cousin are
in abundance in the philippines! (i know it's irrelevant to us)
but yeah! as far as films, i can look around for you if you want.
i still see some ilfords and stuff like that around here. i'll let
you know. it's the same reason i wanna get a canon AE1.

Too bad I know an abundance of Filipino people but none of them actually live in the Philippines lol.
I was told my dad has a Polaroid around here somewhere in the huge mass of cameras he's hoarding. Now I just have to locate it and see about cleaning it up along with the rest. Oh boy!
As for the 120mm film I'll be able to get that online from the Holga site if not from anywhere else. It would just be way more convenient to find a local store that carried it. Probably the closest I'll get to that is an hour or so away in New Orleans. I never mind excuses to go there. Need to again soon so I can try for more street shots!
