Looking for the whales

The third handmade book, for my friend the librarian who likes books (duh) and handmade and handmade books and RDJ and often complains about the quality of mass-produced stationery.
16x11.5x3.5 cm, hardcover, a lot of pages (it has eleven signatures of regular paper and thirteen of thicker and coloured stuff; I didn't bother to count beyond that), faux suede on the spine, handpainted flyleafs and several pages. The poems inside are by Kikaku, Osip Mandelstam, George Love and Omar Khayyam; the prose quote is from Gregor Hartmann's Henry in the trees, and the movie quote is one of my favourites from 2009 Holmes. There's also a couple "secret pages"

Ahaha at first I thought cute whales and RDJ were +100 kawaii or something, but I've been recently told THAT'S NOT IT.
